My superb Saturday began with a nice lunch at Novena with Brigitte. Haven't met her for a while already and it was really good catching up. The food at the vines seafood and steak was a good deal... the service was good... and of course the company was great! Although I don't have much memories of my 2 years in AJ, I'm still glad to have found a close friend! :) slacked around novena for a while before heading to amk to meet cons and kel for last chillout @ sn. the bus ride and the path leading to st nicks is never dreadful when accompanied by friends!
headed to the gym toilet once we reached there... and guess wad we did again? take fotos in the toilet! the toilet is much prettier and kiddish now... compared to the one we used to use last time.
den we went to the gym to slack while waiting for the rest to arrive.
the gym... my favourite place in st nicks... the place with the most beautiful memories (ya and of course got pain and tears and all... but they still make up the beautiful memories!)... and the place where i learnt the most stuffs... the place where i made the most frens... the place where we all went through a lot...
went down to the canteen after slacking for a while. and this was what was in the canteen...
nice stage... nice banner... BUT too much noise! once the performances started we were practically shouting at each other. oh wells... back to the nicer stuffs... we went to get our orange bowls!!!! yummmmms!
this is my standard 米粉汤。。。不要鱼圆不要豆芽不要辣椒!
and they made stamps for all the stalls... so cute right.... this is the orange bowl one!
there was this year book wall thingy in the canteen also. they put up the year books of graduating batches from 1985 to 2008! my class... Sec 4 Loyalty!
next, we went to the other side of the canteen to queue up at the fried rice stall for wanton... and the queue was soooooo long!!!! we queue... and queue... and queue... and reach there... wantons sold out! *cries*
There was a 'photo exhibition' too. Those pictures really captured the niceness of st nicks... and of course the things seen in sch... windchimes, mirrors, pianos, roof garden, greenery, sisters' bridge etc. all 7 of us took a picture in front there... and it's one of my fav pics! so colourful!
next, we decided to get ice cream (no mint ice cream! boohoo) ... but most of us chose the healthier choice instead... mango/strawberry smoothie... and went to the specs stand... which was so much quieter!
decided to go back to our territory after chatting and gossiping for a while... but we dropped by the family lounge and fairyland first.
back to the gym... for 'night training'! :) stretched... or at least TRY to ya tui... jumped around... recalled our routines... did handstands, cartwheels... split leaps etc. jumped on the trampoline (and looked like a ghost cos nv tie hair) and the feeling is really really different! dun dare to use the correct technique to jump now cos i scared i will fly too high... and land outside the tramp! haha. and of course... take lotsa pics!
halfway through our crazy night training, we heard...
"st nicholas greets you, our lovely convent. a school of beauty and greenery....". family dance music! and we bu yue er tong formed one circle and danced! :) happified! quite amazing how we can remember most of the steps after having graduated for...erms 6.5 years? continued doing line dance also... though i couldnt remember much of the steps already. just follow!
went to dou hua dian after our training...as usual! suggested by pig me who was growling. hahahaha. so terrible right. oh wells.
had a great day! love these girls! :)
When I was a little girl, I couldn't wait to grow up, to be financially independent and to do whatever I wished. Now, I wish that I could be a kid again. As I was giving directions to two very lost JC girls in school yesterday and as I was observing secondary school kids on the bus today, I felt really old. They are so energetic... so bubbly... whereas uni students (esp yr 3s and 4s) are weary... with zombified looks, dark eye rings, eye bags and stress written across their foreheads. Can't wait for this semester to be over... can't wait to graduate... can't wait to go for grad trip... but... I don't really want to start work! I don't want to be a working adult yet... it's coming too soon! boohoo.
ohwells. to all my friends with fyp deadlines, exams, tests, assignments and presentations (and who still read my blog though I don't update)... jiayou! hang in there!
65 days! (:
i just super made a fool of myself at the cent lib! =(
i didnt know that the RBR works so differently from the one in law. but oh well... it just made me realise how pampered we law students are! when i reached the cent lib, i expected the same system (after all its all libs managed by nus right?)... so i happily went to those computers with linc access to look for the "2 hour loan" slips. and i couldn't find any. fine... since linc tells me to go to loan desk 1, i went there and stood there like an idiot before i realised that i actually have to walk inside! like pass this sensor, where bags are not allowed, lock my laptop in a laptop locker, and go and TAKE THE BOOKS MYSELF! faint. and i actually asked the librarian "how do i use the RBR system here?". i bet he must be laughing at me!!! like this stupid OLD student dunno how to use RBR? rarrrrr. den... after i was done with the book, i have to return it right? in law lib, you can just pass the book to the librarian and he will do it for u... and u r not allowed to place rbr items in the bookdrop. but at cent lib... it's totally different! there's this weird looking machine with instructions that i dont really understand. it says that you have to open the book and push it into the machine.. and so i did that. the machine 'door' din open... and i tried again, pushing even harder, and it din open. i tried again... and again. and i stood there staring at the machine and instructions for another minute... before a librarian walked behind the counter near the machine and i asked him... and it so happened that another student walked by and the librarian actually asked her to demo for me! argh... super paiseh can... and so it turned out that i had to slot the cover of the book into this tiny tiny slot which i din even see.. and the 'door' will open automatically. oh well... i'm glad that i went to the lib at 8 plus pm when it was quite empty. if not i cant imagine how many pple will be laughing at me!
ok i finished complaining... time to go home...
boo! i'm finally here to blog again. i wonder who are my no. 1 fans who still check my blog regularly for updates when i only post once in a blue moon. i forgot my password AGAIN! ok... i'm old... and my memory is bad!
school has started for a week and i feel like i have not learnt a single thing! cos my mods are all so interdisciplinary that i'm not even learning law stuffs. sighhhhh. alright shall not talk about boring sch life... and talk about the genting trip instead!
i realise that i'm a horrible traveller who cannot sleep the day b4 travelling, while travelling, and anywhere else except my bed at home. so again, i was tired for most parts of the genting trip. k la... but the cool weather there woke me up a lot especially at the outdoor theme park! was actually quite sianz when the weather was bad and the rides were closed... but was super duper happy when the rides opened 2.5 hours b4 closing time... and i became exceptionally brave! hahahahaha. took all the major rides and din scream for all of them! haha maybe i'm brave... or just that i was too scared to open my mouth to make noise? lol. went to snow world too! when i saw snowflakes falling down, i was so excited la! (ok im kinda frog in the well) and i hurried over to catch the snowflake and realised that it was... FOAM! =( haha my expectations are too high for a snow world which charges so little for admission right? k la but overall the trip was still fun and fulfilling... (:
pictures!
I miss gym days! Though it was a period with lots of pain, tears, frustration and torture, it was also the most memorable and fulfilling part of my life.
Went for rg contr0l testing today. I would say that I make a lousy judge... cos i'm far too lenient and i'm definitely not qualified enough to judge those girls whose standards are way way WAY better than ours 6 years ago. =S
Anyway, I really admire those girls. so young and yet so disciplined. and of course super flexible and ultra muscular. spotted 2 ninja turtles today... one with 12 pecs. FAINT. and she's super young la... i wonder how she got those abs! my ninja turtle girl. :)
shopping after that was great too! so happy with my purchases and of course the company. (= and i'm glad we still have mo qi! hahahahaha. i'm super easily amazed can. when i found out that the snowman can move and do more than 180 degrees split, i was like woah! and i kept playing with it. ok... im super kiddish! but the snowman is really cute! even my father played with it. hahahaha. thanks cons!
oh... and of course... i must announce here that there will be a xmas party* at cons house in 2018 with constance and her HUSBAND at their house that has a big xmas tree. and as requested, i'll be bringing a log cake. haha. all gym girls reading this are invited! (haha best rite... not my house and not my husband i just anyhow invite) =P
*disclaimer (as requested):
The above party will only take place if and only if the following conditions are satisfied:
1) She is married; and
2) She has her own house.
(but i'm sure the conditions will be satisfied la!!! =P)
new stuffs for my rabbits!
new cage for xiaohei n xiaopang! something like natnat's cage... but slightly smaller... and new toilet too! i think they look better in this cage cos it's a lot brighter! :)
got a pink toilet for mummy rabbit! k la... and also for my own selfish reasons. hahahaha. poor nat nat will have to use a pink toilet!
and so i spent the whole afternoon doing rabbit stuffs. fix the cage... clean the pee-stained floor... cut their nails... comb their hair. and i've finally decided that im not gg to give the kids away! :)
even though zebras may look alike to you, so much so that on first glance you may not be able to differentiate them from each other, each zebra is unique. each has its own personality, its own character. likewise, each and every one of us are different. no human being is exactly the same as the other. identical twins may look alike... but their characters and preferences can be poles apart. we are all different... and that is what makes us unique.
memories of the zoo came floating back at the night safari...
Just as I decided that I am really really REALLY going to create a new blog at wordpress, vox decided to work. This is similar to the cut-hair theory. Everytime I decide that my hair is like grass and I should go and cut it, I will have good hair days. Ha. I've been wanting to blog for many days already... and now I forgot all the things that I wanna blog! Alright... I shall start with some rabbit news (super outdated ones). Hee.
I must say that my rabbits are really very unglam! This is how they sleep...
Notice the small puddle of pee near Xiaohei's nose? I wonder how he can sleep so soundly beside his pee. Yipes. And he doesn't even know that I have secretly taken a photo of him! Muahahahahaha.
look at mummy rabbit! sleeping so soundly like kid. so cute! i like! =D
anyway... lyana came to visit my rabbits! (ok this is quite outdated la... but i shall still post some pics!)
u notice how cooperative they are?
and look at how they take foto with me! they are super wang en fu yi de jia huos! try to run away when they have to take foto with me. =(
oh... and I think I really must sterilise xiaohei and xiaopang soon. cos they keep fighting and spraying pee! but it will cost $180 +++. =(
i've been spending quite a bit cos this hols is really just slack and go out and shop and eat and eat and eat. went to some hk cafe at bugis tat day with cons and ordered our own main dishes already.... but the glutonnish me saw 2 guys eating some thick brown colour thing and i felt like eating it. and so i asked the waitress what the guys were eating. haha... sounds so pig rite. turned out to be peanut butter thick toast! and then we ordered it to share! yummms.
besides eating and eating and eating even more and growing more giantic, ive finished watching forensic heroes 2 and corner with love. watching bu liang xiao hua now. but i still like forensic heroes kinda shows! im addicted! haha. super shuang hols this time round. and i finally started my driving lessons! which are really quite fun. although i was quite scared during the 1st lesson cos i took the driver's seat immediately and drove for two hours on the road! and the instructor doesnt have a brake on his side. =S and he seems like quite a heck care and anyhow instructor. and he kept talking and talking non stop during the 2 hours and even asked me to eat chocolate while driving. i had to multi task sooo much! faint! i wonder whether he bought insurance. hahahahaha.
alright... i shall continue watching tv now... and blog next time. hopefully vox doesnt spoil again. if not i am really gg to change to wordpress!!
I saw a quote in an advertisement today:
"Fragrances and flowers are inseparable. Giving a perfume is like offering a bouquet..."
- Francois Demachy, Dior's Perfumer-Creator
when my dad buys flowers for my mom, she will always say "waste money! flower die already no more liao... gimme money better!". so maybe... my dad can get my mom perfume! haha. but i'm sure my mom din really mean it la... im sure she still likes the flower! =P
I'm so bored! dont want to study anymore! ARGH.
i want to lead a rabbit's life.... eat, sleep, eat, sleep. (sounds like a pig too)
